Key Stage 3

At Key Stage 3 students follow the National Curriculum with specialist support so that all pupils are encouraged to make a high level of progress.

In Science lessons students explore current scientific events as well as planning, executing and evaluating a number of investigations. Where possible and appropriate the science learning is with a practical approach, which allows all pupils to access the curriculum at their own level.

Key stage 4 

All students study science in key stage 4 and the curriculum is tailored to the needs of the pupils in each year group.

Currently we offer:

AQA Entry Level Science for students working below a GCSE grade G.

Edexcel BTEC Level 2 Certificate and Extended Certificate

AQA GCSE Core Science and AQA GCSE Additional Science
