UJ went to Cadbury World

Upper Juniors had a fab time at Cadbury world and learnt how chocolate was made from a bean! A cocoa bean!


We had lots of fun at Woodlands on Friday! We did lots of climbing and we made our own stick den. Everybody did canoeing and some children over come their fears and were super brave! We made a camp fire with two metal sticks there was a lot of smoke ever such a pong!  Every one had a super time and didn’t want to come home! See you next year Woodlands! Thanks for having us again!

Lower juniors went to Woodlands of Friday we had lots of fun! 


Red nose day at Priestley Smith!

On Friday we raised money for Red Nose day, we did various things over in Secondary and Primary. We wore red and brought in money

for the Mothers Day Sale where the money went to mobility play scheme and then we did a cake sale and sold red noses for Red Nose Day! 

Primary had fun in the afternoon and everybody took part in the Talent Show 2017

Reading buddies!



Reading buddies!

Perry beeches juniors and our lower and upper junior classes have teamed up from this week so each child has a reading buddy. They read to each other weekly and take it in turns 🙂

Health week

This week was Health week, we listened to lots of interesting facts and about how to keep us healthy. We did a pedometer experiment all week to find out how many steps 

we did each day and if there was any difference with certain days. We had the mobility staff come in and have a chat with us about stranger danger and keeping safe. We also learnt alot about brushing our teeth and lots lots more!

Christmas Party

All the children enjoyed our Christmas Party! Big thank you to Mike who provided the music and was our DJ. All the children thoroughly enjoyed the games and the music! Even Santa made an appearance ! 

Fantastic afternoon filled with fun! 🙂

Invisible flash theatre company worked with upper juniors, year 7 and 8, Vi actors came in and worked alongside the company. Workshops got all the kids involved in contributing to the performance the was then performed by the actors at Wolverhampton Theater. 


Christmas activity day with Perry Beeches

We all came together on Friday and had a festive fun day! We were put into Christmas groups, and children had to work together in some of the activities. We all made a Christmas biscuit, tree decorations and a Pomanders to take home.

Foundation Stage and Infants go to the German Market

This week Foundation Stage and Infants joined up and went to the German Market to see what sounds and smells they could find. They had fun sampling some of the delicases and had a little boogey with the lovely instruments they could hear playing. They went on public transport with a mobility officer to help look out for things they have never noticed before. All in all everybody had a fantastic day and ended with a Mcdonalds christmas treat! 🙂
