On 21st March the school’s blind football team were invited to the Royal National College for the Blind at Hereford to train with the England coach for the national blind football team, Jonathan Pugh. They not only took part in some intensive training but also met some of the players from the national team.

Our judo team goes from strength to strength!

Four of our secondary pupils, Conna, Numan, Mohammed and Avram, visited the Paralympic judo squad in Dartmouth to train with them over 2 days. They were selected because they show the most promise in their regular training here.

The team included Ben Quilter who is the VI world champion and bronze medal holder. The boys had to train hard over both days and came back to school inspired and encouraged to continue working towards their gradings and looking forward to the next tournament.
